No need for inbus, it's just push-pin holding it together. Battery is sealed with rubber-like gel which can be removed with small blade. Be carefull not to puncture the battery while doing it - just ask me how I know

There is small controll board attached to the battery, be carefull not to damage it. I was able to power my unit off external battery (did not work off the USB charger). I have ordered couple of LiPo batteries to try.
