I just don't log dives
I recently picked up a MK2 at a smoking price used. Being the cheap sob that I am, I was looking at making a custom spanner.
Working on another non-related project, I was using a bearing puller...hmmm...

I had do a little filing off the feet/claws but it works great. Used a bit of electrical tape to protect to the finish on the reg.

If this is common knowledge...sorry, didn't know.

Care to share a picture? I have a couple of "three foot" pullers I could modify.

Hey desrat, could you post a pic? I'm looking for a cheap pin spanner tool for SP regs. Thanks

Forgot about this thread....meant to post some a while ago.

I had to file the claw a little to fit.

and so...
I didn't tape it up, but this shows what I am referring to. You can use the sliding handle to apply on/off pressure.
Once you taped it up (I use electrical tape) you can still see where the holes are.

ETA just tighten it so it's snug.
