Hello to all. I am buying my first bc and i am between these two.
I like the hybrid design of atmos but seahawk has more lift ( 56lbs to 38 of atmos) . I m planing diving with a steel 15lit. cylinder with a 5 mil wetsuit on summer and i will add a 5 mil jacket for colder water . I weight 70 kg so probably the 38 lbs of lift of atmos is fine. Looking forward to read your opinions, thanks.

I have and aeris EX100 and my girlfriend has a aeris biojack, basically identical to the atmos but with plastic D rings. I really like the larger jacket pockets, not exactly DIR or tech friendly, but for shoving some anti fog, a spool, and a couple macro filters in my pocket it works perfectly. I also think the fill and release buttons are simple, easy to work in gloves, and would probably never change them. For what its worth, I bought my EX100 from a rental fleet and have put about 100 dives on it in 3 years. I clean it and rinse internally with water after every trip, and the BCD has held up very well. It's up to you what you want to spend and what you want to do, but I think for a new diver a jacket style BCD like the Aeris line is the way to go, and it's about half the price of the Scubapro.

Why the Seahawk over the Nighthawk? Same money and the Seahawk seems so cluttered in front.
