Is it okay to store an MK20UL with hoses connected, say for a couple months prior to using the setup? Is there a particular silicone lubricant that should or should not be used with this reg? I ask because I know there are certain bad reaction issues with AL and some other metals.

I used to have a couple of them, great regs. I used cristobube quite (very) generously on the hose threads and was fanatical about rinsing them. I never had any issues but sure had a few come in for service with bad dissimilar corrosion issues, most obvious not rinsed well and no lube used. If I was storing for a period I would remove the hoses.

I have stored a Mk18 Ultra Light for longer without any issues. However, I do take care to ensure that the little "liners" are in place under all the port plugs. I have had plugs "stick" in the past, but for some reason never any HP or LP hoses.
