Hey kind folks of scubaboard, I would like to get some advice.

I recently dived here in Spain with a hooded 5mm wetsuit, 6kg of weight and a 12L tank and I recently stumbled across a good deal on a used scubapro litehawk.

I believe it would be perfect for my warm-water travel diving but I'm not sure if it would have enough lift (29.2 lb/ 13.2kg) for temperate water diving (mediterranean) with a 5mm wetsuit. Any advice or opinions?

Thank you!

Also the older LiteHawks had 240N ( 50+pound) bladders and were rated for 18L tanks. Looks like they have trimmed the bladder on the latest versions or changed their rating method. ScubaPro puts a tag on their BCs/wings showing the rated lift. You might check the one that you are interested in to see.

Just received it today - It's manufactured in 2021 with 130N of lift (rounded down) so it's the one with the trimmed bladder. Max tank size of 15.

I'm going for some dives this weekend, I'll keep this thread posted. Mostly will be diving 12/15L tanks with a 5mm.

Had a dive last weekend with the Litehawk - what a wonderful BCD!

Very comfortable, easy to travel with (I went on a bus) and the trim pockets are super nice (they fit 2KG weights). I had 4KG on the trim pockets and 2KG on my waist and it was perfect for diving with a 12L tank.

I had also finally gotten my regulator (mk17 evo + c370 + r095) - so it was really awesome diving with my own gear :D
