My new first choice fins, these have the same foot pocket as the Nova’s so they say, seems accurate. For my size 15 feet this foot pocket is perfect, overall opening is like the XL eddy but the open toe lets more foot in the pocket.

With the eddy my toe hit the end, deep six doesn’t claim they will fit me but I’ve been using them for a few years.

The SP offers me more foot support, about 95% of the eddy thrust with a frog kick and about 140% more in a flutter kick. Leg fatigue is about 30% less with the SP.
overall fin is very similar in size

The SP GS has some tip flex that has a lot to do with the ease of use in a flutter kick and a bit of snap at the end of the stroke. In the frog kick it has a slight tip flex. I don’t know how they will hold up overall but so fat no complaints. A good fit and pretty amazing performance for such a light fin, price is also not nuts, I have a second pair in yellow coming.

I assume they work fine Back-kick given the design?

Thank you for the report! I thought they will be shorter fins but I guess they aren't. I can't wait to get mine (in yellow). I'll be comparing them to the AquaLung and Mares Quattros.

I think they are shorter effectively since my foot goes deeper into the fin, they (xl) measure 22.3” vs the eddy 21.75 so packing it about 1/2” different. I use these in Monterey with a Hollis dry suit boot which I had modified to fit into the Eddy.

Approximately, mostly due to the extended footpad, the GS is also much lighter.

Is there a way to adjust the length of the fin strap bungee?

No it stretches a lot, they may offer different sizes but I have also thought about trying something like what I have on the Eddy fins. I wish they had used the post type of attachment, it’s not as compact but it would be nice if you could use bungee from the nova’s.
