Are you thinking about making some poppets or diaphragms?

Peter Wolfinger might have an idea of how many were made, or at least a reasonable guess. He sold scubatools a few years ago but I bet he's not too difficult to find.

Unfortunately I have no plans to make parts for these units. I guess if the number of units out there were known (or at least estimated) maybe someone with the capability might be interested in aftermarket parts production.

As the baby-boomers are starting to retire, and retire from scuba diving, all the gear they bought over the years is coming up for sale on places like E-bay. Searching E-bay for Scubapro regulators can get over 900 listings. while some are current models listed by on-line retailers, there is still a lot of good, old stuff listed. Indicates to me there could be a market for some aftermarket parts.

The dive boat fleet in my area, (So. Cal - -Ventura, Santa Barbara, going mostly to the northern channel islands) is slowly dwindling due to the lack of divers - - to me, another sign of the changing demographics. I digress.

Thanks, Halocline, for all your knowledge that you are willing to share with the diving community.
