In my time there have been many “it will kill you” responses to new ideas, SPG will blow out and drown you, b/c will fail and drown you, computer will get you bent for sure, on and on it goes.

I heard those, I came at the tail end of these myths. Heck, I still hear one guy talking about BC's will kill you.

There are other enhancements. You don't want SP to make these enhancements and just keep the original design as is?
Halcyon already does that. And are cooler than SP. Except for their second stages. Those are as ugly as the southbound end or a northbound hog.

Sigh…. Looks like I will be buying a first stage when they start selling them separately.

Lol, they do when they are released to market. You can buy SP stages à la carte.

Probably would be nice to swap out my Mk25 evo. Or maybe Im just dumb and looking to spend money again.

You need one for local diving and one for travel (this rationalization works most of the time).

I fear the end of support (service kits) for the OG 17 to force purchase.... Cause deep down, they can/will ...

But what if i already have 4-5 Mk25 (EVO)? Guess a few more won't hurt. :outtahere:

But on a serious note.. if they would come out with a G260 made from titanium for the working bits... i might buy that. Maybe even with that insanely overpriced titanium Mk25T EVO too. I just don't like the S620 X-Ti or whatever it's called over the G260.

I don’t think this is much of an issue, the previously mentioned H is an old school 17, plenty of Tusa whatever models out there too. I am curious to see what the differences are, if any, in the service kits for these new versions but the EVO 17 uses the same kit as the old 17/19.
