That westy's a pretty rare shade of green... I was under the impression they only used it for VW execs in germany. I only know this becaues my friend Jon used to own a westy that looked pretty much exactly like yours minus the stickers, and he said he had only ever seen two the same color in several cross country trips. Out of curiosity, when and where did you get it? I can't help but wonder if it's the same one.

I've owned the bus for about 9 years now. I bought it from a retired doctor in Chittenden, VT. This Dr. (Dr. Ross, can't remember 1st name), claimed to have bought it from the first owner. I believe from Florida. I don't believe the paint job is original (some overspray visible on window seals). Can't tell if it was even the original color. If they did change the color, they did a great job as I can find no evidence of a previous color anywhere, inside or out.
