ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2014 Roatan

See the 4 buildings to the right of the main complex with the straight deck out front of them. Those are the Hill Superior rooms. I've never been in the Standard area but I'm pretty sure it's the 5 buildings a little farther back and slightly to the left of the Superior cluster.

This picture of the standard room deck gives a sense of how high they are - the road down to the left is most likely the road that runs along behind the dock/diveshop/RIMS area. I can't speak for those rooms but all the Superior decks face NW towards the Key. You can also look down the channel and out to sea.


So you'd see the Key from your deck. The backside where the boat takes guests across. Maybe a partial view of Bailey's Key and the dolphin holding area also off to the left. Although I think this view may be from the dining room deck (I've seen it several places) - the view would be similar. You might be able to see the dolphin "shows" in the presentation pens - that larger building to the right on the map is RIMS.

Appreciate the post and video. I guess the question i'm really asking is are all rooms water facing?

I believe they all face the water or are over the water. I would give Al at Bay Adventures a call, maybe he could help more since he would know exactly which room you are in.

Well my wonderful husband came up with a way for me to go and Monica's flight still had available space going out of Birmingham round trip for only $482 so I am officially going!! Monica already had the room booked so I had a place to stay. Wooo Hooo!!

Not sure if I missed this discussion earlier in the thread, but will a 3mm shorty be warm enough? When we dove Cozumel (in November) the 3mm shorty was perfect; the water was incredibly warm.

Any ideas of general (water) temps during our stay?

I think the water temp will be warmer than Cozumel and you will be fine. So those folks that get cold after multiple dives will be wearing a 3mm full.
