I didn't get to dive today
Did two dives yesterday. Great weather, great water, great vis, great food, great friends. Life is good! Haven't got my UW photos back yet, but here are some topside to warm you all up. First one is me UW (you can see my bubbles), second is of the dive site, third one is the sunset we got to se on the way back in. The last two are from today (no diving ) but shows the weather and water from Two Lovers Point. Enjoy

Dive on Sunday, I have still got the endomorphins Mon, taper off Tues, Wed sad; about three days.

Diving withdrawal you don't know the first thing about diving withdrawal! :bonk: I'm sitting here as I type in full dive gear, because I'm gettin' ready to do a giant stride into the bathtub! :bonk: I even bought a couple goldfish and some of those fake seaweeds so I have something to frickin' look at!:bonk: Last time I went diving? What the hell is diving? Its being so long I think I'm a dive virgin again! AGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! :bonk: Got to hold on until April should be warm enough for Gilboa then! AGgggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

i know exactly how ya all feel !
for i too have been sitting behing my keyboard in full dive gear 7mm bare wetsuit 80 alm in the BC 2900 lbs of o2 in it and wearing my mask sucking back some compressed air ! wonder if it will affect my offgassing time ? breathing in all this compressed air .

Still waitning for the time to come when i get to really GET wet for me that will come on JUNE 2 you see my seasonal job ends on the last day in may so giving 1 day to recooperate ill have all summer to get back into the swing of things AOW course in june as well then hopfully by summers end SAR course but not sure ?
as where i want to go from there ?going to have to travel a bit more to get to some different dive sites and also for the SAR
lets just hope that the dive express (acadian POS ) made by pontiac can handle me and my weight belt !

I went last week in 58* sw with a 3ml wet suit FROZE my B** off I'll put on more neopreme next week.

The sea was 5 deg C yesterday, it doesn't get much colder than that, I saw someone diving in a 3mm semi dry. It was quite nice, a light snow fall on the way to the dive site, and all the hills around were covered in a blanket of white, fortunatly it didn't settle on the road. Your going to get wet so a bit of rain or snow isn't going to stop us. A dry suit, a light undersuit and a set of thermals, Loch Fine its cold but its worth it. Has anyone tried a Dui 400 gram undersuit, though I am also tempted by Robin hood's special offer on an electricly heated undersuit. Maybe next year.

As you can see from where I live, I have no real good reason for my 4 week dive withdrawal.

However, I am glad to report that I will be diving this weekend.
