Are there any markings at all exept for the stamped ones? Might be just "shadows under paint" on the neck.

I looked over the tank again and found this information stamped on it as well.
DOT-SAA 2400- 89/ 9044 001 M8303 Faber Italy 07 89+ scubapro.
I want to thank everyone for their advice and knowledge they offered on this tank it’s greatly appreciated.

So it’s a Faber steel I believe. But the last hydro test was in 89?
There was another sticker indicating it was inspected in 2000 but that’s still a long time ago. Definitely going to get it re certified and inspected again before I use it and new air as well. Thanks again for your help.

Looks like the last hydro was done in 08/94 judging from the picture. So it'll definitely need that and a visual inspection. But as long as it checks out, enjoy your new steel tank!

There was an inspector one in 2000 that’s still a longtime ago hopefully it will pass I inspection and I will have a tank to use. Thanks for your input it’s much appreciated.

It’s a Faber scuba tank so I sent Blue scale scuba company an email and they are getting the REE records on it for me. Sounds like a great company to deal with they didn’t have to do this but they offered. Thanks again for everyone’s help it’s Fantastic to have so much advice and information shared.
