I find I have no trouble in keeeping up with anyone using the frog kick. When done properly, you can not only keep up, but best a diver using the fin kick in the long run as it takes less muscle to do it. Which equates to less fatigue, the results being a considerable gain in gas management. (more bottom time is good)!! I believe the JET, part comes from the actual design of the fin (the ports) and not the burst of speed that may be implied. I still believe that there is no better fin for precise movement underwater, such as turns, frog kicks, or backing up.
