I Didn't know that Sony FX1's were out when you shot this in Little river?? What year was this shot?

Rough cut, and did say all of it! The long blank at the end will credit additional footage etc! Just a rough cut with spelling errors and all! Good way to keep it from being stolen etc! The finished will be out next week! We hope! Most of the UW was L & M Sony 310! Good eye!

I reread my post and I guess it sounded somewhat elitist and pompous. I apologize for that as it's not my intention. I like the video, and I enjoyed watching it. I think it's pretty cool to incorporate the older footage.

If I may submit 1 tiny piece of advice... Replace the rolling text at the head of your episode with 2 line lower third CG. a 15 to 25 frame fade in and 1 sec fade out, will allow your audience to see more of the nice aligator footage and such that you have. It will also keep the audience more riveted to the screen as opposed to a rolling reveal.

It's a nice job though. Keep it up.:D

Wow...

Where is SCUBA Locker? That looked like some tough diving. I'm assuming the flow was strong. When I dove LR, the flow was down a lot.

Glad everyone made it out safely. Looked like one guy was really having problems.

None taken! It will probably be replaced voice over, thats what this cut is for, and a couple other things including a background focus roll! We have new divers watching it and commenting as well as asking questions..... It will be a lot different when finished next week! I just wanted to get it up for us cavers who like to watch a lot of this boring stuff because we have been there! I just get excited!!!!

It was a training dive! We had one guy from Alaska, he was an Ice Trucker! Read the above post and you will understand the video better....

Wow,brings back memories of when Little River used to be a spring on steroids with high flow, and air clear water. The other thing that brought back memories was the Neutralight canister and Bridge 2 dive computer. Makes me want to get the old Diver Don Landis videos (remember those?)

It is footage I have had for awhile (Oct 2001) and have been looking for something to use for and I hope this is it:wink: Yes I do, and I have always thought that there just isn't enough out there! We divers can watch anything that has bubbles! :D I have heard Little River is pretty low? It will be back, just another cycle!

I really wonder if we'll ever see Little River back where is used to be due to population growth, changes in weather cycles, and agricultural demands. Due to a couple droughts the aquifer is severely depleted, and we need 4-5 years of above average rain. I remember in the early 90s you would see the Suwannee at flood levels, but the spring basin would still be crystal clear, because the stong hydrostatic pressure pushed back the river.
