Finman08:Happy to chime in on this one!
I have been diving off Aruba for about 10 years now. I always use Pelican so I can not speak first hand about the other ops. Pelican has always taken exceptional care of their divers (my observation). Also, one of thir instructors now takes divers out and photographs the dive...which is pretty cool. $40.00 for a CD with about 250 pix and about 7 min of video...remains a highlight of my diving there in early April this yr.
For me, I use a full 3mm with my 7mm boots from diving at Dutch Springs, Pa. I always dive with a full suit because I generally get 3 dives per day...by the middle of the 3rd dive I get chilly. The full suit helps when I am diving "often".
Only gear I get from the shop is a tank and weights. 'Nuther nice thing about Pelican is that you can keep your gear at their pier...bring a hanger for your wetsuit!
Email me if you want to see the pictures Pelican's guy took.
Enjoy,
Chris
