Personally, I like the "no alcohol" included. SCC is a diver's resort, where you can dive your tail off. Staying hydrated is one way to minimize the chances of a DCI hit, lots of water intake and little or no alcohol. The waiters push water at lunch and dinner, your glass is never allowed to remain empty for long. If you want a beer or two, when the diving's done, there's always Chedraui and the little fridge in your room.

There is a TV in the bar if you must have a CNN fix, but no phone, no room TVs is a real plus for me. If I want to watch TV, I'll stay home - I'd rather take a tank and go do a night dive.

I've stayed places where the alcohol flows freely and the party never stops. I won't go back.
