The App Store has a number of Scuba related apps. Is anyone using any of them? What might be a good one to use?

iDeco Pro is a handy (and cheap!) one for tech planning, I recently bought the v-planner app for the iPhone but wasn't too impressed, the PC/Mac frame version is much better and almost the same cost!

Other ones I use regularly are the Windguru app for weather planning (it gives hourly swell prediction for most sites also) and Tides Day/Tides Plan for tides :)

Hope that helps,

Karl

I like iScubaPlan and iDive Nitrox. The scuba plan one is really nice for running through dives, and the nitrox app is useful for EAD conversions and MOD and best mix planning. Both are centered on "rec" diving.

On my iPhone:

TideGraph Handy graphical tide tables
TideApp Numerical tide tables
Surf Report Surf conditions
iScubaPlan Duplicates the PADI RDP, but way cooler. Excellent for showing relationships.
Blender Gas blending
Air Depth Equivalent air depths
CDIP Swell info and forecasts for the California coast
BuoyData Get realtime buoy info from the NOAA system
NavyDiving The U.S. Navy diving manual
Divetime Info on divesites. Good idea, iffy data. But it's a "wiki" system, so you can help improve it.
Tapatalk So you can keep up on your favorite scuba fora.
Handy Conv So you can convert centigrade, bar and meters into Imperial measures. Or visa-vera.
