I see you are getting some good tips. Here is my 2 cents. Some company not all carry larger suites. 4x and 5x. If not they will custom order one. The cost is from $15 to $30.00 more but it's worth it. Also the sizing chart is diifferent with different brands.
I don't know how long you been diving but when I start several months ago. I weighted 276. Now I weigh 221.00... I believe that diving helps me breath better and I do 25 to 40 mins of laps in the pool using my snorkle to breath. At least every other day now.. Oh!!!! Try buying the flex type wet suite... Well, I'm 5'10" and weigh in arround 270...

Then Again I'm an Ex-Olympic hopeful in power lifting. I'm just plain big.
