The Seaquest Balance power inflator uses a weird schrader valve insert. I managed to find them for $2.99 each from Northeast Scuba Supply, but it's driving me crazy not being able to identify what is clearly an automotive part. I take it to my local auto parts place, and it's almost the same as some of the A/C schrader valves they have in stock, but not quite. Anyone know exactly what it is?

It's much larger than a standard tire valve insert, seen in many BC power inflators. Will post picture later when I have one that's not all corroded to photograph.

Thanks,

Cam

Here's a picture. I got enough from Northeast Scuba Supply to last me, but it'd be nice to know exactly the name of the part, so others could source them if they want.

From the pics they look the same as the Aqualung I3 valves which are a Volvo A/C valve cores. # FJC2675

Yeah, looks like GM, Volvo, and AC R-134A, and 8mm JRA cores - all find it on Amazon, finally. Here's 10 for $8.00: https://goo.gl/4xppUu
Absolutely NOT the valve you quoted. Threads are on the base, not the top as required. Bought them based on your recommendation, they are the wrong valve stem. DO NOT BUY THESE
