Question: Has anyone successfully cobbled together a ccba fill whip adapter from a 1st stage using the HP port to a CGA 346 connector?
Background: Our local fire station is willing fill my tanks and do so for the occasional search and recovery divers that come in. My issue is they bring their own whip adapter.
I've got a spare (late 70s) 1st stage and am wondering if it is as simple as tracking down a 346 connector to 7/16" hp. The compressor whip has a bleed.
Otherwise, I'll bite the bullet for the commercial item.
Thanks for your help.

P. S. Yes, a scba full face is fine (no electronics) down to 4m if you feather the valve. Though the distortion is a little disconcerting.

E. G. Cga 346 to 1/4 and 1/4 to 7/16 combined with a hp hose.
What am I missing?
