In the course of reading "Dive Ontario Two!", I realized that this wreck is nearly next door to our family cottage near Stokes Bay.
Now I am curious!
The Saturn was a wooden steamer that sank in 1901, and apparently now rests in 85 feet of water near Stokes Bay.(ref "Dive Ontario Two!")

Is anyone on this board familiar with the wreck?

I have poked around and still no one I know that has been on it. This is all I have got.

I'm guessing it is only about 1.5 miles from the cottage, which is just west of Lyal Is.
Still curious if anyone has seen the wreck. Might be worth some exploration on a calm Lake Huron day.

Sounds great, let's get a boat with side scan sonar and try find it!!
