Hey

I have a deep diving class running Saturday AM (27th Sept) and will be diving the Mary Alice B and the Col. AB Williams. We have plenty of room for anyone else that would like to dive those wrecks. See the following for details: http://www.thegreatlakesdiver.com/saturdayAM.php

The following day our three-tank trip is also pretty open for diving on the Regina, John Breden and a deeper wreck TBC (Tiggr will be making the call!): http://www.thegreatlakesdiver.com/sunday.php

Cheers

Rick

Thats right! For a brief moment in time....I'm in charge!!

Just thought I would say thanks to the crew and the team at Bruno's for today's trip.

I was really looking forward to getting on the Williams after calling the dive on the surface a couple of weeks ago.

While the vis. was iffy on the Mary Alice, the Williams was just a perfect dive.

Thanks again.

Jeff

Today's charters (morning & afternoon this time) were cancelled...

Was supposed to be my first Wreck dive, ... maybe next year...

At least we found out about it at the LDS before leaving instead of dockside after a 3+hr car trip...

So we went to Gilboa instead...

Ours weren't. And like I said, we had spaces available. You should have called...

Thanks Jeff

Brunos is going out next weekend :D

I'll be there with bells on.

And neoprene.

BTW, (not trying to rub it in to you Stash-you should come out next weekend)

today was fun! 2nd time with Bruno's and the guys are fun and all of the passengers have been fun too. There are 3 new Open Water divers as of today ! They were super pumped and have to throw some kudos out to Rick....they looked great in the water.

The day started with tieing off onto the MaryAliceB. 4 of us got in the water...my buddy (Scott) and I started to decend and at 30ft .... came to the end of the line. Had to skip her and go to the Regina. Vis was better than last week. Water wasn't too chilly ... high 50's at 70 ft. very slight current. Little tougher up top.

I don't know the name of the 2nd wreck but, it is broken up quite a bit. Found the wheel and there was a boot next to it. Also a coffee cup. Interesting. Only took about 5 pics. Camera keeps crapping out. May have to get a new one. :(

Came up to some 2-4 footers and some rouge 7's + and it was a bumpy but fun ride back. Captain Paul entertained me with his stories of fishing the mighty seas around Alaska. Very cool. :) :):)

Anyhoo, can't wait til next weekend! Hoping to do the Charles S Price! Sweeeet wreck!

You must be close to the water... I wish my buds and I were a bit closer to quality wreck diving as we'd be out there every other weekend as well :) I've done the Alice and Regina both great wrecks. The no-name wreck sounded interesting as well. I have not done the Price as of yet. Perhaps next year.

Cheers from Dayton...
