Well, it's official now. I'm doing a 2-tank dive with Monterey Bay Dive Center aboard the Silver Prince. If anyone else will be there, give a shout. (I'll try to wear my ScubaBoard T-Shirt!)

I'm booked on that trip! I'll see you at K-Dock bright an early (6:30 am)

Great diving with Cincinnati Rob! We had great conditions for diving but top side was another story..rough seas and everybody except Me, Rob and the Captain puked! Bummer! Glad I took my Bonine! We did the Outer Pinnacles (real nice dive) and then a fabulous dive in Still Water Cove. 50' Vis. and we some BIG fish (a massive Cabazon and a crazy big Ling) AWESOME dive site when it's that clear! Very Cool.

Nice, thanks for the update. Sounds like fun! It's always fun when you can meet someone with like interests on the 'net.

Thanks! It was great to have a ScubaBoard buddy before getting to the boat.

I had no idea it was so bad! I guess my first few boat dives (which were in worse consitions!) have set my expectations quite low. I thought the trips to, between, and from the sites were fine except for a bit too strong a desiel smell at the back of the boat on the way back.

The viz was truly awesome! The sea stars that were everywhere were quite a new sight for me. The many snails were also interesting -- attached to kelp and moving around the sandy bottom.

I'm definitely going to hope for another business trip that has to span a weekend (except that my wife hates them and I'd rather not be away so long).

If you're ever in Ohio (or Michigan or Indiana) over a weekend and want to dive, give me a call.

I should have said that the conditions were rougher than usual for this time of year. It does get worse...much much worse in the winter.

Thanks again for the nitrox tables, you should post them.
