anyone ever dive Coronado island and the Kelp Forest? going at the end of the month... first time diving in SD will a 7MM be ok.. saw the water temp to be around mid 60's..

Yes, 7mm will be fine, you must bring a hood as well. Los Coronados have the best viz at the moment. Water will be in the mid fifties at depth. You'll need to go one a boat dive for both the sitess mentioned.

Contact Dive Connections in San Diego for Boat Dives.

Great thanks any other good dives in San Diego you can recommend?

I would probably do a wreck dive too - Wreck Ally has Rugby E and the Yukon as highlights. Heavily dived sites, but still good to see. A number of good shores dives, if you want to fight our 1-2ft waves.

Let me know closer to the time, might take you too some spots.
