Good buoyancy skills can be achieved either vertical or horizontal. Here's a video that shows both. I am vertical at the end (about 3:10) and one might note I have no BC at all:

Scott, your sig line is weird - kind of reminds me of a school yard thing.

If in a vertical position does t really make a difference where your feet are? Your lungs are where the off gassing occurs. So with your lungs being under less pressure than you lower extremities wouldn't you still off gas the same?

So according to you what are the major remedies for it? I wonder if there any?

Your lungs and your entire respiratory system are exposed to the ambient pressure of your regulator. The air pressure inside your lungs does not vary except by the negligible weight of the air. It doesn't matter if you are right side up or down, horizontal or vertical. However, the position can affect work of breathing negatively, so be in tune with that.

That's pretty much what I was getting at. All the gas exchange under proper/normal circumstances should be taking place in our lungs. So, with all of one's blood moving to the lungs the pressure at your feet or hands shouldn't make any difference on the nitrogen leaving the blood stream and being exhaled via the lungs. I realize I am a beginner and do not know the physics but that just seems like the right thought to me is all.

Remedies for what? I am not sure what you mean?
