Hello all, I would like to know if there is any safety recall on Suunto D6 for power failure. This is my 3rd Suunto dive computer and I am pretty happy until this one.

My D6 battery was replaced and lasted only 3 months. The local distributor replaced the battery and this time lasted only less than 30 days. It has only 51 logged dives to it.

It was a good thing though that I still have a Suunto Stinger that works perfectly despite its age. Diving with a computer that fails is scary and could be life threatening.

I brought this to the attention of Suunto Customer Service that promised feedback in 72 hours. It's been 240 hours now and nothing.

Regards, Sponge Boobs
