A used/blank CD/CD-R disc works great as a mirror and very cheap.
A signal mirror is cheap and a better signaling device than a CD - If I ever need it I'd prefer the mirror

I'm going to go with the suggestion of getting a real mirror, a CD is hardly better than a smooth piece of plastic ... ... if the occasion comes that you need it, your not going to be happy that you scrimped on something that costs so little, and could save your life.Sure but a cd will do in a pinch if you don't have one.
