S95 set up questions

Just a few suggestions that come to mind. I used to have a S90 with the Canon case.
1. Suggest you use a cable with the s2000 for better reliability. The cable free option is not very reliable.
2. You can just velcro the optical cable to the housing.
3. You might get some back scatter from the on board flash. Using the diffuser that came with the WP-38 as a template, cut some black plastic (same thickness) the same shape or Just spray paint or use black sticker film over the diffuser. This will block out the light from the S95s flash from lighting up any particles, making your primary light source the S2000.
