Assuming you're ok with older model and looking for relatively cheap high performing it really is very hard to beat an updated G250.

Just to put it in perspective, I'd argue that for most of us the S620ti is as good as it gets in breathing performance, but some conoisseurs can tell a noticeable difference between it and a D420 etc. For me personally, yeah, I notice slight differences between reg models, but in comparisons I forgot what I was breathing from after 20 seconds or so...While I really like the redesign and simplification in construction as a breather I wasn’t impressed, not that it doesn’t have excellent performance but it didn’t excel as I expected.

And for new people reading this, if you don't adjust your own regs then it is difficult to make useful comparisons such as the one by Buddhasummer and Lexvil (aka reg gurus), that's the level of nuances being discussed here.
