So i got 6-4500psi 444cu bottles with cga347 valves on them to set-up a air bank system but am not sure about the lines to connect them. I know traditionally all the older set-ups have used S.S. braided lines but recently i have started seeing them connected with some hard plastic/rubber tubing. Is there any con's to the hard plastic/rubber set-up compared to stainless? Also is there somewhere you all can recommend to buy the pieces parts to put together? Thanks

Look around for a Parker fittings store, there should be one close by, if not try a hydraulic shop lots of them sell parker fittings. You need paraflex 520N line they can crimp on the end fittings for you. Don't buy hyd. hose, most times they don't have the 4:1 safety factor you should have for gas. There are other makes of the plastic hoses but Parker is the only one I use.

Use stainless pig tails and pressure Parker or Swaglok fittings if you can afford it. If you decide use hose for your tank to tank pig tails make sure they are 5000 PSI breathing hose rated and pin pricked.

I got my hoses made from these guys. https://www.breathingair.com/t/product-line/fittings-and-accessories/hose/
Mine were in 2 foot lengths with swivel pipe ends.
Also another good company to deal with are these guys and most likely cheaper. BAUER Compressors genuine parts and full service with August Industries - August Industries Inc.
I have done system in both steel and hoses. I personaly like the hoses and it gives you room for the tanks to be in there own spot. With hard line everything has to be perfect to connect. The price between then is about the same. Stainless steel tubing run about 4.50 per foot not counting the ends.
