RV Campgrounds in Key Largo / June Diving Info

Looking for recommendations on a RV park in the Key Largo area in June.

Wife would prefer something on the Bayside with either views of the bay or access to a dock for watching the sunset. Looks like Pennekamp is the cheapest but isn't bayside. So far the only bayside RV park I have found is Kings Kampground MM 103.5. Captain Jax looks to be in the same location so perhaps one of these is being renamed and absorbed into the other?

Also, last year we dove the 2nd and third week of July, and had water temps about 87 degrees. I'm assuming the 2nd week of June would be within a couple of degrees of this, maybe 85 degrees is this about right? Much more chance of rain in June verses July? Surf / Dive and vis conditions generally better or worse?

There is a campground almost next to Quiessence on the bay. can't remember the name of it. maybe someone else can. (might be one of the ones you stated above.).

you could always call Quiessence and ask them what the name of it is. It's on blackwater sound a short distance down from the marriott.

The Park(s) next to Quiessence is Capt. Jax and Kings Kamp. Capt Jax is 75% not-transient with mobile homes and RV that are permanently parked there----but there are a few spots for travelers.

Kings Kamp is right next door---owned by the same person. There are VERY few mobile homes and has a few tent camp sites.
