Is the past the only thing left to talk about on that damp little island?

:D
It'll do! :D

Beats the present anyhows.......

That said.....they could beat Samoa if they get their butts in gear and at least make it to the semis, which would be a bit respectable.

The problem is that frankly we didn't start getting ready for this World Cup until next week. Did you see the last warm up against France?

It's hard to get enthusatic.

S.Africa looks good though......

:rofl3:
My! Such a typically English response - while the aussies and kiwis are cheering their teams on and looking to the future you have already given up the ghost and are dwelling on ancient history – stuff so old that even a geologist like myself am afraid to touch it...

You can drag the petrified remains of past pommie glory back to the crypt from whence it came.

Sorry :rofl3:

It's OK. I knew if I mentioned his name he'd crawl out of the woodwork. :D

I also knew what would happen.

It goes with being British which is fine by me!

That will be

Australia vs Tonga
NZ vs Ireland
South Africa vs Fiji
Argentina vs Scotland

The way it is going it may be an Austrlalian vs NZ Semi Final.

We still have a little chance to win against Ireland, don't we ? :11:

And Wilko and Robinson were on the field !
England is really unlucky this year...
(it reminds me the french world champions playing the 2002 football World Cup : what a pity :()

You have every chance of winning!!!!!!!

Cheer for your team and hope for the best, anything can happen.

The Irish have the ability to stick it to NZ and rattle them enougth to lose composure.

Injuries could force key players out on both sides but if NZ have more, that could be a different ball game.

Even though I believe that this year, that NZ would be the last team standing, they have shown in the past, that haven't performed too well in tournaments like the World Cup.

I remember that -- and still don't believe it! :shakehead:

OK, perfect...let's try again :
We still have a little chance to win against New Zealand, don't we ? :blinking:
Actually....IMO....yes.

France can play a beautiful, fluid, fast, intelligent game.......

(CRAP....did I really just say that!!!!!!)
