Rubber weight belt and extra length

What do you do with the extra length of your rubber weight belt?

That is what I am trying to avoid: it is a lot of length to tuck.

They are relatively inexpensive, easily cut, and a piece of cake to punch holes into...

I would suggest you buy two belts. One for a wetsuit, another for fine-tuning a drysuit. YMMV.

Those who cut it, how did you do it?

Boxcutter with a new blade and a template from the original end, or the original end itself. Silver 'Magic Marker' or equivalent. Piece of cake...

It is just a rubber belt with a proper buckle and more than enough holes. Chop and fit to suit.

I've got a @MAKO Spearguns belt, just like @lowviz . It is "one size fits all," which for me means that it was about 2 feet too long. I just put it on, marked which hole I actually use, and decided to leave a tail of 3 or so holes' worth of extra length. Took my EMT shears to it freehand. Turned out OK:

Don't overthink it, and definitely don't run around wearing a belt made for someone 10 sizes bigger then you
