I read that some divers prefer Lahania Diver's boat due to the possibility of seasickness in crossing over to the island, or rough water at the island. I am looking to dive around November 18th, how might the water be at that time of the year, or is it pretty much always the same.

Also, why is a larger boat such as Lahania Diver's less likely to get seasick. I do understand a smaller boat might rock more, but have assumed it was easier to get sick on the larger boats.

Thanks for the info.

In particular, the Newton dive boats are very wide so pitch and yaw less than smaller boats (at least that's what I've been told). There's also a big difference between a 30-32' boat and a 46' one for ride and stability. Besides the seasickness thing, the channel coming back from diving can be very choppy due to trades picking up around 11:30 or noon, and the bigger boat simply rides better.
