Roll call for dinner(s) in Avalon 3/10 & 3/11

I can't afford to eat in the restaurants in my home town (heck, I can barely afford... ugh... McDonalds). However, depending on where everyone chooses to go, I can sit in with y'all.

I think I'm busy with a former student of mine and his family Friday night, but Sat night is free. I'd recommend Armstrong's for seafood, Steve's Steakhouse, the Channel House and El Galleon. Antonio's for the lighter fare. Of course I'm no gourmet, just a gourmand.

Those of you who know me, know that I'm all about the dinner!

I've been absent from the board for a couple of days, but that hasn't stopped me from communicating with many of you by cell phone.

I've had many requests for both Armstrongs and Ristorante Villa Portofino.

So, I'll make reservations for Armstrongs for 8:30pm on Friday, which should allow even the stragglers from the late boat over to make it while the rest of us hang out at a happy hour somewhere.

I'll make reservations for Ristorante Villa Portofino for 9:00pm on Saturday. That will give us time to go hang out for a while at Dr. Bill's place after diving and before dinner for our pot luck hors d'ourves party.

I'll make reservations based on the numbers from the replies in this thread.

You know, I was just thinking that I could go wild on dinner both nights and that plus my stay at the Hermosa would still come to less than just staying at the Travelodge when I go to La Jolla. It's going to be an awesome weekend!
