Hi, Second and third certifications NASDS early eighties in Providence Rhode Island.

Had to have them laminated, as they were falling apart.

Still have the film inside.

Still have the original card NASDS #T9726 from 7-75
Dive N' Surf, Redondo Beach, CA
Joe Stitch OWI 1225
Anybody know if Joe is still around?

got my NASDS cert in Memphis in 1988. Still have the card cracked microfilm and all!
Signed off by Doug McNeese.

I did my NASDS OW in 1979 with Whidbey Divers on Whidbey Island Washington. And then became an NASDS Instructor Trainer just before they sold out to SSI. Still have the OW card with the microfiche in it.

Hey DogFrog

My OWIC is 296.... attended collage #19 in 1976. Worked in Caymans with Bob Soto OWI 26 and then Jerry Rowe in Michigan OWI 28 for 6 years. Any idea where Tony Z and Dick Hammas are?

1975 OW at Skipper's in Pensacola, FL. Instructor was Doug Crumpler. I was 10. In 1990 my original C-card was stolen (along with my car and log book) in Hollywood, FL while doing my PADI IDC! :(

I was certified by Jim Brown of Brownie's Scuba Supply in Dayton, Ohio, in 1969. My NASDS number is G 1221. I have since gotten an SSI card because my NASDS card is cracked and nearly disintegrating.

I do remember double hose regulators, and made two dives with one. Before I was certified, I took a half-day "resort course" from an ex-UDT diver named Jim Vogel in the US Virgin Islands. He taught us to dive with a double hose regulator, and took us on a dive to about 30 feet. For an extra fee, we later dove to 60 feet.

NASDS 1979 - Scuba Sciences in Phoenix, Dan Bolander was the instructor. I still have my microfiche card, *and* the neckchain with the 2nd micofiche in it! (somwhere...)

When I decided to start diving again, I went SSI. They looked up my records, and after I finised the OW, my new card said "diving since 1979" and had the correct dive count.

I was certified NASDS back in the 80's as a college PE credit at Texas Tech University. But was unable to do much diving. So I am getting re-certified through PADI at my LDS. Rediscovered how much I loved and miss the sport.:D
