Yes, VDH sold hose covers and I have both versions given me by Bryan for testing. One is Velcro closed and the other is sewn, both Cordura tubes. The Scuba Museum I believe does have the Velcro type. VDH sewn covers:

But for you cheapo types and who who cannot sew there are spinning rod (not casting) covers, you can make the covers longer even trapping them beneath the mouthpiece clamps:

Now this being a scuba forum I probably should not get too deep into proper LM bass fishing but most Southern boys do fish for LMB. And we use a casting rod, not a yankee stick . But you will want the spinning rod covers for your hoses if so inclined. A casting rod on bottom and Yankee Stick (spinning rod) on top:

Similar material are sold in bulk for wire looms, control cables, conduit covers and what not.

My SIL sent me her prize sewing machine to repair as everybody said it could not be fixed. I fixed it because I can fix most things. But, in the process learned to sew a straight line! She had to pry it back from my hands as I fell in love with the darn thing. A fully mechanical device, so complex and yet so simple, how could I not.
