Mambo Dave:
Green_M, from today's LDS foray and Tutrle fin test, the Turtle fin paddle area is noticably less stiff than even my altered RF2's.

Thanks :D

I have a pair of RF2s that I have been diving for a year and I LOVE them. Only alteration I have made is spring straps. The newer design foot pocket is much more comfortable than any other paddle fins I have tried--for my feet (rock boots), anyway.

Like all heavy paddle fins, they are a little uncomfortable if you try to do a hard flutter kick in them, but even then the extended bottom of the foot pocket gives you some foot leverage rather than putting all the strain on the ankles. For frog kicking, they rule!
