Are Rock boots used only on land or are they used in the water too? Probaly a stupid question, but I am clueless. thanks

They are used both on land and in the water.

For my rock boots, I need extra large fins to fit them, so I use Turtle fins.

They are used everywhere. Instead of having a boot molded to the suit it has an attached sock. You slip the boot on over the sock.

Hope this helps,

Dave

Are the rock boots restrictive when swimming?

No. We're taking dry suit here, of course.

Are you diving dry? What are you using now?

Yes, talking dry. Diving wet now, but will be diving dry this spring. i am attempting to figure out what options i want on a drysuit.

Thanks for the info fellas. Gotta go.

Are you thinking more of a neoprene sock or deck shoe? Rockboots are like sneakers you put on, so they are somwhat "permanent" and bulky(er).
