I'll go to Infinity Bay SPA Hotel on west Bay for 1 week only fron january 11th to january 18th. I think it'a nice 4 or 5 stars ***** resort. But I don't know where is the best dive shop around Roatan West Bay... My criretias are accessible professional enthousiasm Divemasters at unexpensive or negociable price. If anybody couold help me on that aspect. Please . I'll bring with me everything all my gear stuff exceptthe lead weight ant the thank. I'm nearly 100 dives logged in 2 years OWD & AOWD.

Infinity Bay is the way to go if your looking for a comfortable and luxurious getaway. Not a 5 star by any stretch but has an excellent beach and great amenities.

If you are looking for nice rooms and great food dont go to Coco. If you are going to get as much quality diving as you can with a very solid daive staff it is just the easiest place you can go.
We love the place. 4 boat dives with your gear assembled and waiting for you. Another 2 beach dives a day and your looking at 36+ hours submerged.
Food fills a void but is scheduled. If you jsut fall into that schedule you will end up eating, diving, sleeping, eating, diving, sleeping. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
We have freinds that prefer Bonaire for its flexability and lack of schedule. I go on dive trips to dive. I have never been anywhere with better food than home and I sleep in a very nice bed in a nice house at home. I dont go away for these comforts so Coco is just perfect for us.
We are going back this year. Our 4th time.
Some considerations;
Food, if it is important, sucks. I say this as a foodie/wanabe chef.
Bugs are mean. You will spend the week slathered in "Cactus juice" or your favorite repelent.
Rooms at Coco are simple with AC but gaps in the walls allowing the little lizards in to eat the bugs.
Dont drink the tap water.
Kids, dont know if its the same but on our last trips no kids under 13 allowed. Its a diving resort and we really like this.

Guess it boils down to what you really want out of your trip.

Goodluck,
E
