Looking for info on weather. I know its still rainy season and impossible to predict but curious if anyone has been during Xmas and what the weather has been like. Thanks.

Christmas Week 2017 in Roatan was fine, and a welcome relief after biblical rains that October...At Barefoot Divers we probably had our busiest week of the year (meaning wind/sea conditions were good) and as I recall the faces on the returning boats were all smiles...And scubaNYC16, I have to smile myself at your "Nassau Grouper", since I'm a Long Island boy from Nassau County's Westbury...Now I dive every day with the Nassau Groupers off the island of Roatan...

The year I went Christmas week (at least seven years ago :-) ) it rained one full day, two 1/2 days and occasionally on the other days. I had a much rainier week in February a couple of years ago.

The most rain falls during the 31 days centered around October 30, with an average total accumulation of 8.1 inches.

December is ranked third rainiest month. I have been there and played Santa many times. No desire to go at that time of year for diving if I don't have to go.

I am not with the tourist board. The location of your dive op will have a lot to do with your sea conditions. The West North can get pretty messy Oct>Mar.
