Depends upon which side of the island. North/West or South shore?

The depths being dived and the temps within each zone do vary.

We'll be staying at and diving with Bananarama (West Bay Beach).

How about typical water temps in that area at 100', 50', surface? Even a reasonable temp range for that depth range would be useful for planning purposes. Thanks!

Likely you will see 76>80° degrees. If it is dead flat calm and you are in 2fsw, you may well see 81>82°

The prospect for Dec/Jan is rain. The bogey in that West Bay (and wrapping around to the North side) area is a "Norther" which can be wind, rain and cold crashing down from the Arctic via Texas.

Bananarama has the wherewithal to move their operation to the South side if the weather turns bad. The better West End/West Bay ops do.
