Hello all,
I am putting together a group trip to Roatan for sometime next year between April and June and wanted to see if there would be any interest from people here on the board.

I plan to limit the trip to 10-12 divers and the package will include airfare from Boston, ground transfers, 7 nights hotel, 3 boat dives per day each day, and one night dive during the week. PADI cert. from OW to Advanced certifications will also be available at discounted rates. My plan is to keep the cost around $1200 per person. (exact number will be available when the dates are confirmed)

I haven't set the exact dates because i am waiting to hear back form some contact on Roatan regarding the best time to come down (i want to try to be there when the chances of whale sharks showing up is high).

So far i've selected the dive operation and lodging. We will be diving with Sueno Del Mar Dive shop. This shop is great (in my opinion)! Located out on a pier, it is one of the most convenient and well staffed shops on the island. They aren't the biggest that's for sure, but that's what makes it so nice. You won't be on a boat with 20 people like some of the other dive machines i checked out down there. They have lockers for all your stuff 10' from the boat so your not lugging your gear back and forth all week, and have a full service dive shop.
Check out there website www.suenodelmar.com

Sueno Del Mar began construction on a new hotel when i was there in early June just up the road from the shop in between West End and West Bay. We would be staying at this hotel. Last year i stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn which is affiliated with Sueno Del Mar and had a great time!

This trip IS NOT for the people who like the all inclusive resort type trip. We are staying just outside the West End within walking distance to all the shops and rest. located in the West End. There is plenty of great food and it's extremely cheap!

Please contact me with any questions

Thanks
John
