roatan ???'s

hey all- thinking about roatan this Feb.
is this a good time (weather wise?)? we will be diving (duh) so does anyone have any first hand experience staying/diving/vacationing there?
anything would help, i've been researching online, but you don't really get the flavor , know what i mean?

We were there in April and the diving was good...don't know much about February. We stayed at Luna Beach but we weren't impressed with how they ran their dive shop or the dives we did with them, so we switched to Coconut Tree Divers. We much preferred the way they ran their operation and had a much better experience with them.

Been to CCV in June, great diving (little if anything else to do if you're ok with that) hot, but rooms had ac. Dining hall and bar had large fans, worth checking out.

Been to COCO View twice - no complaints but its a dive resort.

If you don't love to dive look elsewhere.

The Coconut tree operation I have only heard good things about. So, I would give them a try if going ala cart!

Can be kinda rainy in February. Also known for "Northers" at that time of year, crashing hard waves and wind from the North. Still better than February in the USA.

I was in Roatan last February and weather/diving was great. Also in October, and going again in late September and may book 2 weeks over Dec-Jan holiday.

Three weeks in less than 12 months and 2 more very likely - guess you can say I like it.
