Roatan Honeymoon?

We are planning on going to Anthony's Key Resort on Roatan this upcomming June. The diving looks great in that area and wanted to know if anyone ever stayed at this resort or even dove in the Roatan area and what you thought.

i'v dove in Roatan. it was great. Not with the people you are but I'm sure you have an excellant time there

There are three or more recent threads about this "Top 3 in Roatan" of AI Resorts.

Almost universally, everyone walks form AKR away very happy. Recent reports on the remote Paya Bay Resort have also been very promising, showing a marked improvement from their start-up struggles. PB would be my choice for an idyllic honeymoon retreat.

AKR would put you very close to the West End, which for Roatan represents the party zone... lots of choices for bars and eats. This is hardly Cozumel or Cancun, so don't fret.

Did a cruise that landed in Roatan, we then bussed to AKR and did our dives on a boat out of there. The diving was excellent and from what I could see AKR looked like a good place to stay. Enjoy.
