This was my 5th trip to Roatan and since there are a plethora of dive ops I checked for recommendations on the board and was glad I did. Coconut Tree Divers in West End felt like diving with family and friends. Owners P.J. and Gay went above and beyond by picking me up every day at my hotel in West Bay,and also went into Coxen Hole to pick up a Rx at a pharmacy. Many thanks to Gay, P.J, Tree, Jay, Adam, Kirk, Monty and Matt who dares to be different by exhaling through his nose while diving. Dive groups were small and, as a longtime solo diver, I did not feel restricted and was able to dive loosely with the group with ample opportunity to pursue my photographic efforts (see my Roatan photos). We never dove the same site twice. How you arranged the pod of wild dolphins to surround our boat was amazing and more exciting than the shark dive. Shark photos were taken at Cara a Cara with Waihuka Divers.
Happy New Year!

Thanks for that, I am less than 3 weeks from going & have no firm plans other than to take a cab from the airport to West End.
