I was looking through the credits in the SSI Nitrox manual and notice Rick Murchison as a photographic contributor. Was wondering if this was SB own Uncle Ricky.

It is.

Now I have to get my book out and see if I can find it

Occasionally SSI sends out a request for pictures that they use in their new series of books. If you'll notice, under Doug McNeese's leadership they have gone to new and more colorful training materials as the books are republished and the courses upgraded. It's funny, one of our instructors submitted a beautiful Southern Stingray and in the first printing it was labeled as a skate. I noticed in the private student I taught last week that in her book it is labeled as a stingray. I was too lazy or too occupied on other stuff at the last request and I regret not sending any pictures.

I believe he is also the contributer to the Blackbeard's site for the loggerhead turtle video.

Just the thought that there could be more than one gives me the shivers!
Thanks Jeff... You up for a dive around the 30th? The surgeon & I are negotiating... he says mid January before I can handle tanks safely again, I say yesterday... I'm pretty sure I'll have him convinced the 28th or so is really ok. (May have to be a single tank dive though).

You trying to sucker me into sherpa duties?!

Unfortunately I can't do it. I'm on vacation from the 19th through the first, but a good friend for 20 years of my life finally got her claws in a sucker to marry her; so I have to go make sure he doesn't bolt out of the church on new years eve.

I have one TBD weekend in january that I'm booked, but aside of that my calendar is wide open. Not sure if I can do salt water though, we might have to check out some wet rocks... I'm getting really used to this 'reg out, take a drink' thing. JB, Twin, Ginnie, Madison Blue over Thanksgiving weekend. JB, twin and hole the weekend before that. Ginnie day before yesterday, telford yesterday, Little River and Peacock today. Madison Blue tomorrow. I'm really starting to like this picnic table diving
