RI Temps this week?

Anybody been in the water in Newport or Jamestown this week? Are the temps still in the 50's? I'm trying to decide if I need to wear a vest tomarrow or not.

yeah. its still about the same....
the thermoclines are changing tho. water is warmer at depth by about 5 degrees

Sure, rub it in......and I'm looking at a 7mil vest to put on over my 7 mil wetsuit....lol

Just went dry myself, last weekend. I got jealous of you guys when I dove with you on the 853. No more cold! At least 4 of us will be at Wetherell early am on Sat. See you there?

I was at Ft. Weatherill Saturday morning...I didn't see anyone diving...are you sure that you went?? They say the mind's the first thing to go...

The water in RI is fricken' cold! wear a vest with your wetsuit or a drysuit. We swung by Ft. Wetherill later in the afternoon and it was choppy and no vis. so we ended up heading to Taylor Point. Nobody was at Wetherill and there was a class where we were.
