Rhode Islanders?

I'd like to meet some RI snorkellers and/or divers. I say and/or because I have been "beached" for a long time and I'm not sure I will get medical clearence to dive again so I may have to stick to snorkelling. Anyway I'd love to meet anybody else on here who is in RI either "virtually" (feel free to IM or PM me) or even in person I also just joined the NEADC and plan to be at the next general meeting so if there are other NEADC members here I'd love to talk to/meet you as well.

I'm in RI.....also joined the NEADC but have yet to attend anything...lol. So far haven't been able to get out with them, but plan to soon. I'm just waiting for my AOW course this month. My work / school / kids schedule doesn't allow for much free time to dive but I'm trying to make the time....

I'm going to the next general meeting, will I see you there? I'm looking foward to the tropical fish collections and beach clean ups. I ran into some folks collecting for NEA today at Ft. Wetherill so I'm looking foward to going to the aquarium and finding out what it is that they had in mind for those puffers.

I can't make the meetings. I work nights I will try to make it to one of their dives soon. Just trying to figure out when my AOW course will be and go from there. Still have yet to dive in RI.....even though I already have the lobster license...and I spend a lot of time in Matunuck.....

Good luck with the medical clearance! I am a RI'er who does some snorkeling (and should be doing some more soon, I hope) diving around the Bay. I am a new diver (started last year) but I love the water.
