Hey everyone.

I have a pair of Dive Rite regulators for sidemount and I'd like to change one around to a left hand reg.

Can someone help me identify these 2nd stages and point me in the direction of how to change one around?

Thanks for the ID guys, now to try and see if reversing is possible. Pete @The Chairman don't you dive reversed DR for sidemount?

Take the face off and see if the two sides of the housing, where the barrel and adjuster fit are the same shape. If they are not it is not reversible.

Looks like hex on one side....

Round? on other side?

Not sure how to remove the red part without trashing it to see but I suspect its not hex.

On the inside where the barrel enters and exits the body its all round and seems to be the same diameter, I haven't got a caliper I can get down there.

I'm like 99.8% sure that that second stage reg can't be reversed. We can assume this because there isn't a notch cut out for the venturi lever *the red thing*, and it would have to go over to the other side. The venturi baffle slides right out when you remove the entire air barrel assembly

Remove the sticker from the end of the adjustment knob.
I don't believe the old 1208 seconds are reversible. The newer XT regs are.

I believe if you reverse the flow the discharge port in the barrel will now face the exhaust port rather than the mouthpiece. At least that was my experience years ago with the RG 2000 when I dove independent doubles.
